Rose house

Rose House in Atlanta, GA

This project was designed in conjunction with the nonprofit 3D Girls, whose mission is to provide mentorship as well as educational and cultural opportunities to struggling youth. The 6,000 square foot structure will include living suites, a full kitchen, counseling rooms, and communal and recreational space. The Rose House will give access to transitional housing, support groups, work-based training, reoccurring pregnancy prevention, individual counseling, and structured recreational programs. A continuum care plan will be available to each parent, connecting them to early childhood learning resources, healthcare options, and other social services tailored to their needs. RAD’s design for Rose House was to resemble the layers of a rose that translate to 3D Girls mission of providing layers of support to the community.
