Completed in 2022, Fire Station 23 is a $4.5 million, 7,000 SF new-build for the City of Carrollton. The station’s design strikes a deliberate balance between modern functionality and classical aesthetics. This approach was to reflect the City’s vision for a facility that honors traditional fire service architecture while providing the performance of a contemporary essential facility. The station includes two apparatus bays, a helipad, a communal bunk room, Lieutenant office, a dedicated study room, a spacious locker room, and gear and extractor room. The project further enhances personnel well-being by incorporating outdoor gathering spaces, providing functional areas for decompression and team building.
