The College of Education at the University of West Georgia, Ashlee’s alma mater, contacted RAD about designing a Mobile Innovations Lab that delivers hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) learning opportunities to public school students around the state.

SOCIAL IMPACT

Since this was a project for children, Michael recruited his kids to help measure and think through the essentials of the end-user experience. With their help, he designed the flow of experience and detailed millwork to house each component within the 53’ trailer. The lab includes programmable robotics, 3D printers, virtual reality simulators, and hands-on coding applications.
