affordable housing in Jamestown, Mississippi

Two affordable housing designs were completed in hopes to revitalize Jonestown, Mississippi. Utilizing a prefabricated structural insulated panel system (SIPs), the designs allow for open concept living spaces and promise to snap together like Lego houses, without the need for traditional framing techniques.

The simplicity of this construction ensures economy, rapidity, and allows for homeowners to invest in well-built, energy-efficient homes. This project is currently in development as our partners Third Lens Ministries, But God Ministries, and the Design Build Institute of America explore and vet potential builders and develop financial opportunities for prospective homeowners.

Social Impact

In Jonestown, there are a lot of good people who are loved by God and just need an opportunity to gain a foothold out of cycles of generational poverty. Architecture and design have the potential to revitalize entire towns, change lives, and build a better world.
